The biggest thing I learned at the Teen Vogue Summit? Using your voice is fashionable. The rooms felt like a chorus — editors, speakers, and young creatives all echoing one truth: authenticity is the most powerful thing you can bring to the table.
On being unapologetically yourself. Every conversation circled back to this: your voice matters as much as your résumé. I walked in with nerves; I left with a reminder that real beats perfect — every time.
“Fashion isn’t just about what you wear — it’s storytelling. Individuality is strength.”
On meeting the Teen Vogue editors. Surreal and grounding at once. They were warm, curious, and genuinely encouraging. They reminded me that fashion and media aren’t just trends — they’re platforms to amplify voices and spark change.
On community and connection. The most inspiring part wasn’t just the stages — it was the people. Being surrounded by other young creatives made the future feel collaborative. We’re shaping it together, in real time.
On what I’m bringing back. Courage. I’m leaving more confident to speak up, share my perspective, and keep creating — in fashion, in music, and in the moments in between. My ideas don’t have to wait; I’m part of the conversation now.
Editor’s Notes
For the reel, I’ll lead with the hook — “Using your voice is fashionable.” — then mix talking points with a few candid cuts from the Summit. Pop-up text: “Fashion = storytelling,” “Individuality = strength,” “Voices shape culture.” We’ll close with gratitude and a wide shot of the room — cinematic, warm, and honest.
